Italy travel to Armenia for their Matchday 5 EURO 2020 Qualifiers clash on the back of a five-match winning streak and bursting with confidence as Group J pace-setters, despite seeing an edgy contest and only completing a comeback to secure the home points against Bosnia-Herzegovina in their last outing back in June.

Azzurri have picked it up with a friendly win over the United States (1-0) and managed quite comfortable wins over Finland (2-0), Liechtenstein (6-0), and Greece (0-3) beforehand, with goals coming from all directions as Nicolo Barella, Lorenzo Insigne, Moise Kean, Fabio Quagliarella, and Marco Verratti all have two to their name already.

They will now want more of the same and Armenia will have to look for an upset if they’re to keep up, now sitting 3rd with six points to their name and three behind 2nd placed Finland. Armen Gyulbudaghyants’ men have beaten both Liechtenstein (3-0) and Greece (2-3) in their last two outings, though, and promise a tough challenge.

Indeed, Havaqakan netted six goals along the way and seemingly found their pace after early losses to Bosnia-Herzegovina (2-1) and Finland (0-2) which felt like a huge step back in a battle for the top 2 spot. An upset here would surely make it up but we don’t really see them up to the challenge.

Italy have been rock-solid at the back and although they’ll now be without Giorgio Chiellini, we feel the defensive line (probably led by Leo Bonucci and Alessio Romagnoli) will prove a tough nut to crack – as we go for the visitors to bag a win to Nil at 10/11 with bet365.

With that in mind, we hope not to see as many goals between the sides and this has us sticking our necks out for Under 2.5 Goals FT as well, which comes at 5/4 with bet365 and has already caught the eye of many value seekers.
